Governors Suntai of Taraba, Liyel imoke of Cross River, Sullivan Chime of Enugu, and Al Makura of Nassarawa State all have one thing in common- they are all either absent or bed ridden.
And worse still, this list of bed ridden and absentee governors is still rising following the latest accident involving Kogi state governor. What a year to forget for our state governors.

Governor Wada of Kogi State is said to be in Emergency Ward as a result of a Car Crash this afternoon along the Ajaokuta-Lokoja highway. The accident is said not to be fatal with the governor's ADC said to have died on the spot of the accident, which occured when the car somersaulted due to a tyre bust.
Unconfirmed reports according to Business day Newspaper said Wada may be in coma at the SMC where he  was rushed to. The accident reportedly occurred after the governor and his convoy were returning from an official assignment close  to Lokoja. The reports also said a driver too was believed  to have been killed on the spot as well.
More details shortly but it will be recalled that a host other governors have been absent for a while now either as a result of one ailment or accident. We do wish nothing of such should occur as we march into a new year.
