Barely a month after a mystery girl believed to be in her late 20s tried to kill herself along Aminu Kano Crescent, Wuse 11, a similar scenario has played out right in front of the head quarters of the Nigerian Television Authority, area 11, Garki.

This incidence happened during closing hours as workers were leaving their offices and consequently, vehicular and human traffic along the head quarters of the Nigerian Television Authority, Area 11 Garki were disrupted as this middle-aged woman occupied the centre of the road in protest against her alleged maltreatment at the hands of an erstwhile policeman who not only abducted her but also fathered her baby.

According to the woman who is a native of Agbor in Delta State, she was taken hostage by a policeman who eventually got her pregnant but threw her and her baby out. Worst still, in an attempt to effectively silence her, the erstwhile policeman in connivance with her state governor had her locked up for over a year at Bwari.

Upon regaining her freedom, she vowed to seek justice, a move which has seen her visit the popular Radio shows- Lean On Me and Berekete family respectively.

The reasons for her choice of staging this protest right in front of the NTA were not too clear but if anything, she achieved something quite tangible as she went home with a whooping sum of N 100,000. Yes, you heard me right.

Her weeping and wailing attracted many passers-by, one of whom took pity upon her after hearing her ordeal and gave her 100,000 to take care of herself.

The worrying aspect now is that a couple of people who saw her on that day, alleged that she had done similar thing in the past and simply dismissed her as a fraud. The public is hereby warned to watch out for this lady.
